EAU CLAIRE (WQOW) – On this edition of You Ask, We Answer, Pete wants to know if furniture is allowed on the curb.

The City of Eau Claire’s Neighborhood Services division handles most nuisance code violations. Supervisor Phil Lubke said it’s against city ordinance to leave furniture on the curb. Additionally, overflowing trash cans are a violation.

Then I have to go and talk to the homeowner or the tenants and get a plan in place.”

While ordinance violations can lead to fines, Lubke said the goal is to work with residents to solve the sanitation issues. To report a violation there’s a couple options, calling the City of Eau Claire at 715-839-4902 is one option, the other is to use the City of Eau Claire’s .
